Washington & Jefferson College will rename Beau Hall in honor of Dr. Walter Cooper ’50, a noted research scientist, steward of education, advocate for civil rights, and passionate supporter of his alma mater during a private ceremony on Oct. 2.
Due to state-mandated restrictions on crowd size during the Coronavirus pandemic, this event is by invite only. However, a video-recording of the ceremony and an interview with Dr. Cooper will be publicly available after the event.
