Dana Allen is an instructor of accounting in the Department of Economics and Business. She teaches the accounting senior capstone course Auditing and Assurance Services, along with Taxation of Business Entities, Taxation of Individuals, and Financial Accounting. Dana also brings with her over 11 years of public accounting experience, heavily focused in the areas of individual, trust, partnership, and S corporation taxation, teaching continuing public education courses, and responding to IRS and state audits and reviews. When not teaching or completing tax returns, Dana enjoys reading, attending Pittsburgh Pirates games, and spending time with her family.
