Jessica is a Visiting Instructor of Spanish. She is interested in Spanish linguistics, second language acquisition of Spanish, the acquisition of foreign language intonation patterns, heritage language acquisition, and the effects of study abroad on language acquisition. She has taught lower level college Spanish classes in the U.S. for over 5 years and she led study abroad for the Pitt in Cuba program twice.
