Dr. Michael Crabtree is a Professor of Psychology at Washington and Jefferson College where he has served for the last 48 years. Along with teaching he has had an active research program. He is the author of five books, over 30 professional publications and has presented hundreds of professional and community presentations on stress, trauma, addiction, and military psychology. He has been principal investigator on a half-dozen research projects: he recently completed his work as Principal Investigator on a $6 million military research project funded by the Department of Defense. He is presently Principal Investigator on a research program funded by the Templeton Foundation evaluating the effectiveness of Gestalt Pastoral Care.
He is the founder and owner of Washington Psychological Services where he specializes in Forensic Psychology and treatment of Trauma.
