Accounting

Develop technical competency in accounting, while stressing critical thinking, analysis, and communication skills.

The Accounting program of the Department of Economics & Business provides the opportunity to study what is often called “the language of business.” The program prepares students for entry-level positions in public accounting, private business organizations, not-for-profit organizations, and governmental entities, or for a wide variety of graduate programs including accounting, business and law. Within the college’s liberal arts environment, the program develops technical competency in accounting, while stressing critical thinking and analysis, as well as technology, writing and oral communication skills.
