The Conservation Biology major emphasis would be appropriate for any Biology major with an interest in ecology who wants to gain a greater understanding of biodiversity and its management. Students who complete the emphasis will gain a greater breadth of experience in course and field work related to ecology and conservation and will be better prepared for moving on to graduate studies in those fields.
