The Creative Writing minor and major emphasis develop students as writers of fiction, creative nonfiction, and poetry. Students cultivate aesthetic judgment, facility as critics, and skills in the writing and editing of literary texts. Each student in this course of study produces a well edited portfolio of work in a variety of genres.
