Major / Minor

The Finance program of the Department of Economics & Business provides students with the opportunity to develop the foundational knowledge of finance appropriate for entry-level positions in financial service organizations, graduate study in business or when combined with additional preparation in mathematics, graduate study in finance. Within the college’s liberal arts environment, the program develops technical competency in basic finance while stressing critical thinking and analysis, as well as technology, writing, and oral communication skills.
