The Philosophy & Physics major emphasis explains the epistemological foundations of knowledge of the physical world, including the acquisition, evaluation, and limitations of that knowledge. Students in this program will understand the fundamental questions in metaphysics, classical philosophy, early modern philosophy, and philosophies of science, and apply them to address current questions in physics.
